Booklyn Bookclub Collaboration

We were able to read two books (A Lacrosse Story by the Sunseri Family and The Book Itch by Vaunda Michaeux Nelson) for children attending the Canba program at P.S. 26 in Brooklyn, New York. We were able to expose children of color to the sport of lacrosse as well as its history. They were able to play with different types of lacrosse sticks (wooden versions to modern sticks) and hear about it’s history.

School Visit

We will be explaining lacrosse to different classrooms at Fallstaff Elementary and Middle School to begin recruiting girls for the Lacrosse Clinics that we will be hosting at this school for the lacrosse Season.

Howard vs. UMBC Game

We attended the Howard vs. UMBC Women’s lacrosse at UMBC Stadium to cheer on Howard University.

PLL HBCU Allstar Game

We attended the PLL HBCU All-star game. A few girls came out to watch HBCU club teams (both men and women) take the field.

Baltimore Terps 

We started coaching for The Baltimore Terps for the 2025 Lacrosse season. Girl’s practices are on Tuesday and Fridays’s from 6:30pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday’s from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

The Oshun Conference

We will be a vendor at the Oshun Conference to expose black women to the sport of lacrosse and its history.
